Made To Order: 4-8 week lead time.

A randonneur bag for use with the majority of my standard accessories, designed around the Nitto M18 (or similar) randonneur rack. For brevets, the Map Pouch works perfectly for a cue sheet. For you extra hardcore types who ride TO the brevet, stash your bedroll on the front or top using the Net Harness. The Net Harness can also be used to overstuff the main compartment when running to the post office or home from the grocery store. The Fancy Pouch is a perfect front pocket on this bag. The inside is full of organization options from pockets to pen holders to a whole shock-cord panel for items of all sizes and, as always, is lined fully with high-vis orange recycled packcloth.

SPECS

  • 12” Wide, 7.5” Deep, 9.5”->11.5” High (specify below)

  • Boxy side pockets are 5.5”x5.5”x2.5”, their tops are 6.5” from the bottom of the bag.

  • 13L Small, 16L Tall. Boxy side pockets add 2.5L total to either size (15.5L Small/18.5L Tall)

  • Removable stiffiners for rigid attachment on rack-top.

  • Daisy-chain webbing along bottom to strap to rack (Includes 2 velcro straps)

  • Tombstone button with optional hook for single cord closure.

  • D-rings for shoulder strap (not included)

  • Reinforcement for decaleur (Decaleur not included, highly recommended)

  • 4 internal organizer pockets (various sizes) and two pen slots

  • Shock-cord front internal panel holds water bottles upright, keeps large gear seperate, etc

  • Choice of flat or boxy side pockets

  • Small external rider facing pockets

  • Dual cord main closure, can also be setup with a single cord that closes by going around your stem, or single cord on the optional hook found on the tombstone holder

If you’d like to expand the bags usability even more, it’s compatible with the Map Pouch, Net Harness, and Fancy Pouch. (Not compatible with the floating webbing net, since it doesn’t have it’s own straps like the flap and roll bags)

If you don’t want me picking your cord color, specify what you want here.

Duck Canvas bags can be fully waterproofed with my waterproofing wax.

Custom sizing: Of course, the sizes offered here are my “standard” offerings. They allow me to keep prices lower by standardizing my cuts of fabric, webbing, etc and by applying the same process to each bag. I also know how randonneur bikes can be and how riders sometimes want a perfectly fit bag for their deep custom brevet bike. To accomidate I do custom size bags for this model on request. The design fee is $40 to have me pattern out your exact dimensions, plus whatever base cost for the bag (usually the same as above unless there are huge departures in size and features.)
