Before the Spring/Summer Fall/Winter format was adopted, there were several very limited “LUXE” drops from the early Rambler days. Most of them used beautifully woven jaquard fabrics that were treated with a home mix of silicone for water repellancy over X-Pac or Cordura, from the days before I’d moved on to Challenge laminates and natural heavy cotton duck.
